Heartwork Retreat

Heart Work isn’t hard work - it is sweet work, slow work, loving and kind work, it rekindles joy in your soul and deeply nourishes your body.

Intro

Join us in SW France, in an area of unmatched natural beauty and historical mysticism, to retreat into deep rest, embracing our ability to create healthy, intentional patterns in our lives.

With the pace of life often feeling frenetic and non-stop, we can often find ourselves in states of exhaustion, overwork and overwhelm. A heart-centred programme of therapies, nourishment, ritual and wellbeing activities has been designed as a way to push the reset button for your mind, body, energetic system and lifestyle habits; offering you a way to deeply rest and strengthen connection with what your heart is calling for.

We are a team focused on your healing, your comfort and your support. Antoinette hosts you, creating nutritious and delicious nourishment and a calm, serene home to hold you. Sophie and Pedro will guide you through your day, from river meditations, to guided hikes in the hills, therapeutic sessions to gong meditations.

The Heartwork Retreat has been built on many years of study, an array of cultural teachings and healing styles combined with lived understanding of how therapy in an immersive group environment can be incredibly powerful and transformative.

THERAPIES AND SPACE FOR DEEP REST AND BURNOUT RECOVERY

Focus on digital detox and healthy sleep patterns, allocated time throughout the day for journalling, napping, resting, meditating, reading and relaxing by the pool. Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy works to restore a frazzled nervous system and releases held stress patterns. Our Complete Recovery Massage Ritual is designed to align your energetics while soothing and restoring a burnout mind and body.

Facilitators

Antoinette Fairhurst

Antoinette your host and the creator of Les Marguerites, with her husband Keith and their family have worked over the last 13 years to create a space for your pleasure. Antoinette originally trained as an NNEB (nursery nurse), she has had many careers over the years, from being a trained Doula and owning her own nursery school, to being head of HR for a small IT company.

Since moving to France in 2008 Antoinette has been on a spiritual journey of her very own, starting a business in the middle of a recession, in another country, with no command of the language was a huge challenge and certainly pushed her out of her comfort zone. The first glimpse of this new adventure called her to break away from everyday life, and that was the trigger of her spiritual awakening. She believes that being here, at this time and in this space is her calling, she is here is to serve you and to help you to step into your own power.

Pedro Morrell

Brazilian born Pedro was introduced to physiotherapy, massage and osteopathy in his late teens when he suffered an injury which halted his calling into a future involving professional football. This injury led him to understanding the immense impact that intuitive healing can have in an individual’s life and inspired him to help others therapeutically as a career.

Pedro has had the opportunity to live and learn in different countries and cultures during his adult life and the connections and shared experiences he has collected have made him the professional he is today. A desire to stay connected to healing communities took him into teaching, with the aim to assist other therapists to evolve in their careers and to continue himself to grow personally and professionally.

With experience in many different methods of massage from sports and remedial work to transformative Craniosacral therapy, he offers a series of complementary services designed to fit each client's specific needs - supporting them in their own self-healing journey.

SA profile

Sophie Andrews

Some of Sophie's first memories involve massage and bodywork - her mother was a yoga teacher and taught her to walk up and down her back Thai-style at the age of 3.

In her mid 20's she left her job in media, and started her training as a therapist. Over her career thus far, she has taught massage and healing philosophy in over 25 countries and spent time in Asia, the United States and Europe learning how different cultures heal themselves.

In her work, she combines her passion for natural health and the powerful benefits of complementary therapies with her practised knowledge of various advanced techniques, to provide her clients with effective, unique treatments and advice.

With a strong belief that strong support systems help us to be our very best, Sophie sees treatment as a reminder to trust in your body and mind and takes much pleasure in assisting clients to better look after themselves.

Tori Profile

Tori Milner

Tori's work centres around the essential belief that we already have everything we need and desire within us – we just sometimes need support in reconnecting. She is passionate about providing this support to women; enabling them to reconnect to their inner resources, abundance, pleasure, and sexual energy.

She acts as a bridge between the scientific and the spiritual worlds by combining her knowledge gained from her 5+ years studying Psychology, 650+ hrs completing a Sex, Love and Relationship Coaching Certification and over 5 years of intimate work with the female archetypes.

Her connection to the feminine energy and cyclical archetypes allows her to help women in all stages of life embrace their evolving energies and identity shifts. Specialising in the shifts during major life transitions, she offers the space to grieve old identities that no longer serve us and embrace new empowering identities.
